Captivation is looking for software developers who can get stuff done while making a difference in support of the mission to protect our country. Description Captivation Software is looking for a senior level DevOps Engineer with experience in Kubernetes, Terraform, and AWS. Responsibilities Provide optimization and automation across multiple platforms and applications Drive consistency for deployment and build processes Utilize modern tools like Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon Web Services, Ansible, Terraform, Python, Linux, and much more You have worked with teams before on large and demonstrable projects (preferably built on with AWS and familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash, Ruby, Python) Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes You understand how to set up a CI/CD pipeline You understand Agile software development and DevOps practices and can work closely with your peers other mid-to large size teams Focus on understanding customers' needs and translating those needs from product specifications into functional, production ready code and infrastructure The following skills are required: AWS (S3, VPCs & Networking, EC2, ECS/EKS). Containerization (Docker, k8s, Registries). IaC (Terraform/Cloud Formation). CI/CD (Jenkins/ GitHub Actions) You are self-driven, self-learner willing to share knowledge and participate actively in a team environment Requirements Security Clearance: Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable Polygraph, therefore all candidates must be a U.S. citizen Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other technical discipline 14 years of experience architecting, developing, and maintaining software solutions, with an emphasis on performance optimizations CWIP IAT Level I required Required Skills: Kubernetes Ansible Terraform Python Linux Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Ruby, Python) AWS (S3, VPCs & Networking, EC2, ECS/EKS) Containerization (Docker, k8s, Registries) IaC (Terraform/Cloud Formation) CI/CD (Jenkins/ GitHub Actions) This position is open for direct hires only. We will not consider candidates from third party staffing/recruiting firms. Benefits Annual Salary: $130,000 - $270,000 (Depends on the Years of Experience) Up to 20% 401k contribution (No Matching Required and Vested from Day 1) Above Market Hourly Rates $3,600 HSA Contribution 6 Weeks Paid Time Off Company Paid Employee Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance/Life Insurance/Short-Term & Long-Term Disability/AD&D
