Full job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Digital Sales Representative based in Canada. This role is focused on accelerating pipeline and revenue growth within a modern SaaS sales environment. You will engage prospective customers, develop strong relationships, and create new business opportunities through digital sales strategies. Working closely with Account Executives, Sales Engineers, Marketing, and Channel Partners, you will contribute to acquiring new customers and expanding existing accounts. The position combines prospecting, discovery, opportunity development, and transactional deal execution with a strong focus on measurable sales performance. You will use modern sales technologies and data-driven insights to identify prospects, understand business needs, and create relevant engagement strategies. Success requires strong communication, organization, persistence, and the ability to work effectively across a collaborative sales organization. This is an opportunity to develop your enterprise SaaS sales career while taking increasing ownership of pipeline generation and revenue outcomes.

Drive pipeline and revenue growth by proactively engaging prospective customers, identifying qualified opportunities, and progressing prospects through the digital sales cycle. Leverage SaaS and enterprise software sales methodologies to conduct effective outbound and inbound prospecting, uncover customer needs, and convert qualified leads into sales opportunities. Collaborate closely with Account Executives, Sales Engineers, Marketing teams, Channel Partners, and sales leadership to coordinate account strategies and support new customer acquisition and account expansion. Use digital sales and prospecting tools such as LinkedIn, 6Sense, Outreach, and ZoomInfo to research organizations, identify relevant personas, uncover business priorities, and create targeted engagement sequences. Manage inbound and outbound leads within defined service-level expectations, ensuring timely follow-up and effective progression of qualified prospects into opportunities within Salesforce. Conduct discovery activities and develop the ability to confidently communicate the value proposition, tailoring conversations to customer needs and business priorities. Maintain accurate pipeline, funnel, and activity information within relevant sales systems and consistently deliver against established KPIs and performance targets. Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and internal stakeholders, using persuasive communication and consultative selling techniques to advance opportunities. Progress toward independently closing transactional deals and managing upsell opportunities, while collaborating with Account Executives as required during the development and closing process. Continuously improve sales effectiveness by reviewing performance metrics, refining prospecting strategies, developing account plans, and applying feedback from managers and peers. Requirements: Bring 1–5 years of experience in SaaS sales, preferably in an ISR, SDR, BDR, or comparable inside/digital sales role within the enterprise software industry. Have current experience in enterprise software sales, ideally in an inside sales representative or similar position focused on pipeline generation and opportunity development. Demonstrate a proven ability to successfully close transactional deals or manage upsell opportunities; demonstrated closing experience is preferred. Possess strong knowledge of modern digital sales methodologies, including outbound prospecting, inbound lead management, account research, sequencing, discovery, and opportunity qualification. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage prospects effectively, build relationships, and deliver persuasive sales conversations. Be highly organized and able to manage multiple prospects, accounts, activities, and sales priorities while maintaining accurate CRM information and meeting time-sensitive follow-up expectations. Bring strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to uncover corporate insights, understand persona-specific priorities, and translate findings into relevant sales engagement. Demonstrate a proactive, dynamic, and results-oriented approach, with the resilience and initiative required to consistently build pipeline in a competitive SaaS environment. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, particularly for candidates building a career in enterprise technology sales. Be currently based in Canada, as this position is open to candidates located within the country. Benefits: Competitive on-target earnings of CAD $120,000 annually, consisting of an $84,000 base salary and $36,000 in uncapped commission potential. Full-time remote work opportunity for candidates based in Canada. Uncapped commission structure providing additional earning potential based on sales performance. Structured onboarding and revenue training designed to build product knowledge, sales capabilities, and familiarity with the digital sales technology stack. Access to professional development resources and role-specific training to support continued growth in enterprise SaaS sales. Ongoing coaching, manager support, peer collaboration, and opportunities to work closely with experienced sales and technical professionals. Exposure to modern sales technologies, including CRM, sales engagement, account intelligence, and prospecting platforms. Clear progression toward greater sales ownership, including the opportunity to develop from supported opportunity management to independently closing deals.
