Are you an experienced food service or dietary professional with leadership experience looking for an opportunity to take ownership of a department? At Pyramid Healthcare New River Valley Inpatient , our Dining Services Manager leads the food service operation supporting clients in substance use disorder treatment. This is an opportunity to combine your dietary, culinary, and management experience while leading a team and ensuring clients receive safe, nutritious, high-quality meals. What You'll Lead Oversee the daily operations of the dining services/food service department Lead, schedule, train, coach, and support dining services staff Oversee meal preparation, cooking, portioning, and serving according to standardized menus and recipes Partner with the dietitian to ensure nutritional needs and modified diets are accurately met Manage purchasing, inventory, labor, and department expenses Monitor department performance, trends, and operational goals Maintain appropriate food safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards Develop and implement strategies to improve department operations Prepare monthly operational reports and other department reporting Help maintain a clean, safe, organized, and efficient dining environment We're Looking for Someone With Food service, dietary, culinary, or dining services experience Supervisory or management experience High school diploma or equivalent Equivalent experience may be considered, including at least two years of food service operations experience in healthcare, restaurants, schools, or similar settings Associate's degree or higher in Food Service Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field preferred At least one year of food service supervisory experience preferred ServSafe certification required or ability to obtain after hire Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills Position Details 📍 6226 University Park Drive, Radford, VA 💰 $60,000–$67,000/year 🗓️ Full-time | 40 hours/week 🏥 In-person Additional Benefits: First Stop Health: No-cost virtual Urgent Care, Primary Care, and Mental Health visits for eligible employees UKG Wallet: Optional access to up to 50% of earned wages before payday Training and professional development opportunities Your Leadership.
