This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Directeur(trice) gestion relationnelle, Agricole based in Canada. This role offers the opportunity to build and manage strategic relationships within Canada’s dynamic agricultural sector. You will serve as a trusted point of contact for agricultural producers, agribusinesses, and related organizations. The position combines relationship management, business development, financial analysis, and complex credit structuring. You will help clients pursue growth, investment, and long-term business objectives through tailored financial solutions. Working closely with internal specialists, you will deliver integrated solutions while maintaining strong risk management practices. The role also provides opportunities to develop market expertise, represent the organization in the business community, and expand your professional network. You will join a collaborative environment where client impact, commercial growth, and industry knowledge are central to the work.
Build, maintain, and deepen long-term relationships with strategically important agricultural clients. Act as a primary strategic point of contact, developing a strong understanding of clients’ businesses, objectives, and financial needs. Recommend tailored financial solutions that support clients’ growth, investments, and long-term plans. Structure and negotiate complex credit transactions in collaboration with specialized internal teams. Identify new business opportunities and increase share of wallet across existing and prospective clients. Use agricultural market trends and sector knowledge to provide relevant, value-added advice. Collaborate with internal partners to deliver an exceptional client experience and integrated financial solutions. Represent the organization within the business community through industry events, conferences, and market development activities. Contribute to portfolio growth and profitability while maintaining sound credit and risk management practices. Requirements: 2 to 5 years of experience in relationship management, account management, or portfolio management within commercial banking or a similar environment. Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, agriculture, or a related discipline. Strong knowledge of financial analysis, commercial credit, and risk management. Demonstrated ability to develop lasting business relationships and influence a range of stakeholders. Entrepreneurial mindset, curiosity, and a strong customer-focused approach. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of the agriculture and agribusiness sectors. Strong capabilities in relationship management, transaction structuring, portfolio management, credit risk assessment, and business development. Ability to collaborate effectively with internal partners and manage multiple priorities. Fluent French and English communication skills, as the role supports clients and team members within and/or outside Quebec. Benefits: Salary range of $70,000 to $150,000, with compensation varying based on location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications.
