Our partner is looking for a Director, Marketing Technology & Campaign Operations based in United States. This role leads the technology, data, and operational infrastructure powering a global marketing organization. You will own the marketing technology ecosystem, campaign operations, data governance, and roadmap for practical AI adoption. The position combines strategic leadership with hands-on oversight of high-volume, multi-channel campaign execution. You will ensure marketing programs are built, launched, tracked, and optimized efficiently across North America, EMEA, and APAC. As a people leader, you will manage a distributed team spanning MarTech, database management, email and nurture strategy, and campaign operations. You will work closely with marketing, sales, revenue operations, finance, IT, and business applications teams to connect technology investments with revenue outcomes. This is an influential leadership opportunity for a technically strong operator who can scale systems, processes, teams, and AI-enabled workflows.
Own the strategy, architecture, governance, and performance of the marketing technology ecosystem, including Marketo administration and the broader go-to-market technology stack. Develop and maintain a 12–18 month MarTech roadmap aligned with business growth and go-to-market priorities. Lead vendor selection, negotiations, renewals, and technology investment decisions across marketing automation, intent, enrichment, AI data, and integration platforms. Evaluate emerging MarTech and AI technologies and identify opportunities that can improve efficiency, automation, and marketing outcomes. Manage integrations between marketing systems, Salesforce, and other core business platforms, ensuring reliability, scalability, security, and operational excellence. Lead the adoption of AI across marketing technology and day-to-day workflows, establishing measurable outcomes such as reduced cycle times and increased automation. Own database strategy, lifecycle stages, lead scoring, routing architecture, campaign attribution, and reporting infrastructure. Establish data governance and compliance practices supporting data accuracy, consistency, and requirements such as GDPR and CCPA. Lead end-to-end campaign operations across email, webinars, direct mail, content syndication, and list management across North America, EMEA, and APAC. Establish campaign intake processes, service-level agreements, prioritization frameworks, operating rhythms, build standards, quality assurance, tracking, and attribution practices. Identify opportunities to standardize and automate recurring campaign activities while maintaining quality and speed. Partner with revenue and growth leadership on annual marketing budgets, spending controls, and alignment between investment and pipeline priorities. Manage budget and market development fund administration, including funding requests, claims, and invoicing. Lead and develop a distributed team covering marketing technology, database management, email and nurture strategy, and campaign operations. Set priorities, performance expectations, service levels, development plans, and operating rhythms while maintaining reliable stakeholder coverage. Serve as the primary execution partner for acquisition, partner, customer, and demand generation marketing teams. Partner with Business Applications, IT, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Finance, and campaign leadership on shared infrastructure, dependencies, budgets, vendors, and campaign planning. Requirements: 10+ years of experience in marketing technology, marketing operations, campaign operations, demand generation, or a related field, including 3+ years of people leadership. Hands-on experience administering Marketo or a comparable marketing automation platform, along with Salesforce. Demonstrated experience building and managing a marketing technology roadmap, including vendor evaluation, integrations, technology governance, and stack optimization. Experience managing multi-channel campaign execution at scale, including email, webinars, direct mail, and related marketing programs. Proven ability to identify and operationalize AI or automation use cases within marketing or revenue operations workflows. Experience managing distributed or global teams across multiple regions and time zones. Strong understanding of marketing data architecture, lifecycle management, lead scoring, routing, attribution, reporting, and data governance. Strong business acumen and the ability to connect marketing technology, campaign operations, and investment decisions to revenue outcomes. Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on when required. Experience with intent or data enrichment platforms such as 6sense, ZoomInfo, or Clay is preferred. Experience managing a marketing budget or market development funds is preferred. Marketo or equivalent marketing technology certification is preferred. Experience in cybersecurity, SaaS, or another complex B2B environment is preferred. Comfortable leading teams that combine technical, operational, and creative disciplines. Typically willing to travel 10% or less for business purposes. Able to work effectively in a remote environment and participate in video interviews with cameras on, subject to reasonable technical or accessibility accommodations. Successful completion of required background checks and ability to meet applicable information-security and export-control requirements. Benefits: Annual base salary range of $135,200–$266,400 USD. Variable incentive compensation and new-hire equity grants. Equity opportunities for employees. Flexible time off and paid volunteer days. 401(k) matching. Comprehensive benefits including medical, mental health, dental, disability, life, and AD&D coverage. Employee Assistance Program with mental health services. Fertility support and paid parental leave. Training, professional development, and career growth programs.
