Director, Social Media

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director, Social Media based in United States. This is a senior leadership opportunity to shape a global social media function and define how a leading technology organization engages audiences across digital channels. The role will own social strategy, performance, budget, tooling, team development, and measurable business impact. You will connect company, product, brand, and employer stories to customers, users, contributors, candidates, and industry audiences. As a player-coach, you will combine strategic leadership with hands-on involvement in content, campaigns, and channel execution. You will work closely with Marketing, Communications, Product, Sales, Talent Acquisition, and Developer Relations teams in a distributed, asynchronous environment. The position also offers significant influence over executive social presence, creator programs, employee advocacy, and the organization’s broader digital voice. Success will be measured through audience growth, engagement, business contribution, and the ability to continuously strengthen social strategy through data and innovation.
