This role will oversee the Advanced Materials and Machining pillars and partner closely with sourcing, engineering, and business units to ensure the right suppliers, processes, and controls are in place to support new product development and long-term growth.      What you will be working on   Lead Supplier Development for Advanced Materials and Machining, driving capability, scalability, and supplier readiness for critical categories.    Manage and develop a team of ~6 supplier development engineers, providing clear direction, prioritization, and leadership.    Partner with sourcing and business unit engineering teams to identify critical components and define supplier strategies for key parts and processes.    Evaluate supplier technical capabilities, manufacturing processes, capacity, and growth plans to meet current and future demand.    Drive a strategic, forward-looking supplier development approach focused on capability building and supplier selection (vs. tactical quality escalation).    Establish robust supplier process flows and controls, and transition ongoing monitoring to Supplier Quality once stabilized.    Ramp quickly on ASM products and supplier landscape to support NPI, scaling initiatives, and margin improvement efforts (e.g., should-costing).      What we are looking for   Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline required).    Strong experience in supplier development, manufacturing, sourcing, or technical operations within complex industrial environments.    Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, supplier capability assessment, and design-to-manufacturing considerations.    Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives across sourcing, engineering, and product development teams.    Demonstrated people leadership experience, including managing experienced technical teams.    Ability to operate strategically - assessing supplier capability, capacity, and alignment to long-term business needs.      What sets you apart   Master’s or PhD in Engineering.    Semiconductor industry experience or similar fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment.    Experience supporting advanced materials, specialty chemicals, or machining-focused supplier categories.    Strong commercial mindset, with experience driving supplier scalability, cost optimization, and margin improvement initiatives.    Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across global operations, sourcing, and engineering teams.    Background from larger, established semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing organizations.      Apply today to be part of what’s next.
