Full job description
ABOUT THE ROLE Location: London / London-adjacent, with regular time expected in our London and/or Gloucester offices Function: Marketing Reports to: Chief Marketing Officer ABOUT THE ROLE Radiant is looking for a Director of Technical Product Marketing to turn our technical advantages into clear, credible, market-facing narratives. This is an embedded, hands-on role focused on the end-to-end datacenters we build. You will work with infrastructure, product, engineering, solutions, partnerships, and leadership to understand our architecture and explain its value to hyperscaler customers and other technical and business audiences. Our audience is focused and well understood. Your priority is technical product understanding and original storytelling, with ownership beyond launch checklists, personas, sales decks, or technical documentation. The right candidate will be technically curious, commercially sharp, and an exceptional writer. The successful candidate will be deeply technical in the area of data centers/AI factories and AI infrastructure. WHAT YOU'LL OWN TECHNICAL PRODUCT NARRATIVE
- Own Radiant's technical product narrative across our platform, infrastructure, and market-facing offerings.
- Work with product and engineering to develop positioning, messaging, and product explanations for customers, partners, analysts, executives, and the broader market.
- Explain why we built the technology this way, what breaks at scale, which tradeoffs matter, and what differentiates us. Connect each claim to evidence and a reason for technical buyers to care. TECHNICAL CONTENT AND WEB COPY
- Write technical blogs, product and solution pages, whitepapers, reference architecture content, case studies, customer stories, launch narratives, technical explainers, executive essays, and long-form thought leadership.
- Adapt the level of detail for technical buyers, business decision-makers, partners, investors, and industry observers without losing accuracy.
- Work with design, web, product, and marketing teams to make pages clear, technically grounded, and commercially useful. SPEAKING AND EXECUTIVE COMMUNICATIONS
- Develop the thesis, architecture explanations, proof points, technical arguments, and story arcs behind talks, panels, submissions, keynotes, podcasts, and executive posts.
- The social and communications team may own the opportunity pipeline and distribution cadence. Your role provides the technical substance.
- Ghostwrite corporate and executive content that requires technical depth, product understanding, or strategic market framing.
- This is a public-facing role requiring excellent communication. CUSTOMER STORIES AND PROOF POINTS
- Build Radiant's library of customer, partner, and product proof with sales, solutions, customer teams, and leadership.
- Capture the original problem, what was deployed, what was difficult, and what changed. Turn the technical and business impact into evidence customers can evaluate and sales can use. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE In the first 90 days, you will have built strong working relationships with product and engineering, developed a clear understanding of Radiant's technical architecture and product priorities, and shipped a meaningful set of market-facing assets. You will have created a repeatable process for extracting technical stories from the organization and turning them into blogs, web copy, technical narratives, executive content, speaking inputs, and longer-form assets. Over time, success means Radiant has a deeper, sharper, more technically credible voice in the market. The website explains the product more clearly, our blogs are technical and differentiated. WHO YOU ARE
- You have 8 - 12+ years of experience in technical product marketing, product marketing, technical content, developer marketing, infrastructure marketing, solutions marketing, or a closely related role.
- You bring deep technical expertise in datacenters, AI factories, and AI infrastructure, with a background in cloud infrastructure, AI infrastructure, data infrastructure, datacenters, or high-performance computing. A technical degree is preferred.
- You are an excellent writer with experience explaining complex technical topics to external audiences. You produce accurate, compelling content with minimal handholding and edit out hype, unnecessary complexity, and generic claims.
- You work confidently with product managers, engineers, architects, and technical executives. You do not need to be an engineer, but you must understand complex systems, ask precise questions, and identify what matters.
- You have strong product judgment: distinguish features from benefits, claims from proof, capabilities from differentiation, and market trends from useful points of view.
- You work autonomously: find the right experts, ask questions, create drafts, pressure-test claims, and move work through to publication.
- You are commercially aware, creating content that helps customers evaluate the product, equips sales and executives to explain its value, and builds credibility. Relevant settings include high-growth B2B technology companies, AI infrastructure companies, cloud platforms, data infrastructure companies, telecom infrastructure businesses, semiconductor ecosystems, and technical agencies with deep infrastructure experience. IDEAL BACKGROUND The strongest candidates may come from high-growth B2B technology companies, AI infrastructure companies, cloud platforms, developer tools companies, cybersecurity companies, data infrastructure companies, telecom infrastructure businesses, semiconductor ecosystems, or technical agencies with deep infrastructure experience. Experience working with engineers, architects, product leaders, founders, or technical executives is strongly preferred. Experience writing about complex technical topics for external audiences is required. Experience with AI, GPUs, Kubernetes, networking, datacenter infrastructure, cloud platforms, MLOps, sovereign AI, or enterprise infrastructure is a major plus. Why should you join us?
