RESDOC is co-funded through Horizon Europe MSCA COFUND and the University of Helsinki. The programme spans four themes: infectious diseases and antimicrobial resistance in changing environments; biodiversity and nature resilience; secure and sustainable food and water systems; and just socio-ecological transition. Training also includes AI, systems thinking and innovation.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must hold a Master's degree or equivalent qualifying for doctoral studies, must not already hold a PhD, must meet the MSCA early-stage researcher and mobility rules, satisfy University of Helsinki English requirements, propose a research topic fitting RESDOC, and be willing to reside in Finland during employment.
