Driver - Client Transportation 📍 Gastonia, NC 💼 Full-Time 💰 $15.00 per Hour Schedule Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Make a Difference Every Day Freedom Detox, a Pyramid Healthcare program, is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and safety-focused Driver to join our team in Gastonia, NC. In this role, you will provide safe, reliable transportation for clients receiving substance use disorder treatment and recovery services. You'll play a vital role in supporting individuals on their recovery journey by ensuring they can access treatment appointments, medical services, and community resources safely and on time. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in a supportive healthcare environment dedicated to improving lives. Company vehicle and fuel card provided. No personal vehicle required. What You'll Do Safely transport clients to and from treatment-related appointments and designated locations throughout the region Monitor and support client safety and well-being during transportation Maintain accurate documentation, mileage logs, and transportation records Communicate professionally with clients, clinical staff, and community partners Respond calmly and appropriately in emergency or crisis situations Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns Assist with loading, unloading, and lifting items up to 50 pounds when needed Follow all company policies, traffic laws, and safety procedures Perform additional duties as assigned What You'll Bring High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required Previous driving or transportation experience preferred Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities Ability to remain calm and exercise sound judgment in challenging situations Dependable, flexible, and team-oriented approach to work Who You Are You are a reliable professional who enjoys helping others and takes pride in providing safe, respectful, and compassionate service.
