Job Title: E-Commerce Specialist (BigCommerce / B2B) Job Type: Full-time, Remote Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8AM - 5PM U.S. Central Time hours Salary: $2,000 - $3,500 USD/month (salary will depend on experience and technical fit) Location: Philippines About the Company Our client is a U.S.-based B2B distributor serving contractors and infrastructure-related projects, specializing in cable and related industrial products. The company is launching a new e-commerce channel to make its product catalog available online and is looking for a hands-on E-Commerce Specialist to help bring the store fully live and maintain its ongoing operations. About the Role We are looking for an experienced E-Commerce Specialist with strong BigCommerce experience and a background in B2B e-commerce. This is a hands-on role focused on executing the e-commerce launch, managing the online store, maintaining product and inventory data, supporting integrations, and ensuring the website operates reliably. The ideal candidate is technically comfortable, highly organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. What You'll Do
- Take ownership of the BigCommerce store and help bring it from its current setup stage to a fully live, functioning website.
- Configure, test, and troubleshoot store functionality before and after launch.
- Manage products, categories, variants, pricing, and catalog information.
- Maintain a large B2B product catalog with thousands of SKUs.
- Work with complex product variants and configurations.
- Manage and troubleshoot the integration between BigCommerce and the company's inventory management system.
- Ensure SKUs, product information, pricing, and inventory remain properly aligned between systems.
- Monitor the flow of orders from BigCommerce into the inventory system and ensure fulfillment and shipping information is properly reflected back in the store.
- Manage shipping options and checkout logistics using third-party shipping applications.
- Add or modify shipping methods as business needs change.
- Support payment gateway and checkout configuration.
- Use BigCommerce APIs to efficiently manage large-scale product, pricing, or catalog updates.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and improve e-commerce workflows and processes.
- Help connect the e-commerce store to the company's primary website and domain.
- Assist with DNS and domain configuration related to the e-commerce launch.
- Build or modify landing pages for specific product categories or promotional campaigns.
- Make ongoing improvements to the website based on business needs and operational requirements. Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of hands-on e-commerce experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with BigCommerce.
- Experience managing or launching B2B e-commerce websites.
- Experience managing large product catalogs with thousands of SKUs.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce operations, including products, inventory, orders, checkout, shipping, and payments.
- Experience integrating BigCommerce with inventory, ERP, or order management systems.
- Experience working with e-commerce APIs and third-party integrations.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Ability to work U.S. Central Time hours. Nice to Have
- Experience with SOS Inventory or similar inventory management platforms.
- Experience with Advanced Shipping Manager or similar shipping applications.
- Experience working with BigCommerce product variants and complex product configurations.
- Experience with DNS and domain configuration for e-commerce launches.
- Experience setting up or modifying payment gateways.
- Experience building e-commerce landing pages.
- Experience supporting U.S.-based B2B, industrial, or distribution companies.
- Experience using BigCommerce APIs for bulk product, pricing, or catalog updates. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a technical, hands-on e-commerce professional who can take ownership of a project and get it across the finish line. You should be comfortable figuring things out independently, troubleshooting issues, asking the right questions, and making changes directly within the platform. You don't need to be a software developer, but you should be technically comfortable working with APIs, integrations, third-party applications, domains, and e-commerce systems. Experience with industrial products, distribution, electrical products, cable, or other complex B2B catalogs is a plus.
