Full job description
Graduate Foreign Policy Officers contribute analysis and advice to Ministers and government, engage with foreign governments and international organizations, support negotiations and official visits, and rotate through portfolios that can lead to later offshore assignments.
Requirements & qualifications
Applicants must be current New Zealand citizens, hold a double degree or higher qualification in any discipline, have graduated within the last two and a half years and have no more than two years of professional work experience. Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a New Zealand Government Top Secret security clearance.
