UNICEF is recruiting an office-based consultant in Majuro to provide technical, logistical, coordination, monitoring and reporting support for education and early childhood development programming in the Republic of the Marshall Islands.

Full job description

The consultant will work with the Public School System, Office of the Chief Secretary, UNICEF and development partners to coordinate implementation plans, follow up deliverables, track progress, risks and results, address bottlenecks and support monitoring and reporting across education and ECD initiatives.

Requirements & qualifications

Requires a bachelor's degree in international development, education, social studies, economics or a related field and at least five years of progressively responsible experience in programme planning, coordination, implementation, monitoring or management. Experience in education, ECD or social-sector programming and in government/development-partner or multi-stakeholder coordination is required. Excellent written and spoken English is required.
