The position we are currently recruiting for is within the Hardware System Team, pivotal in developing our core product, the Mujin Controller. You'll be responsible for executing product designs and tests from concept to production including design, prototyping, validation, testing and certification.
Responsibilities
- Develop PCB design, schematics, and board layout.
- Develop system hardware architecture, requirements, and design inputs.
- Document firmware and hardware (schematics & fabrication drawings for custom circuit cards, drawer/rack/system wiring & cabling)
- Develop functional specifications, design verification plans and unit/system test plans
- Perform hardware test & system integration/assembly
- Developing test fixtures for factory acceptance testing.
- Performing technical or regulatory compliance testing.
- Support product releases to manufacturing and customer deployments
Business level of English
Bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical engineering, computer science or similar engineering discipline
Minimum 5 years of experience in embedded system hardware design
Proficient with Altium or other software for schematic and PCB layout
Good understanding of product lifecycle management and quality management
Experience with Linux development environment
Experience with safety/reliability critical design
Good understanding of hardware interfaces and protocols, such as SPI and I2C
Basic knowledge of mechanical design and thermal design
Basic Microsoft Office skills
Minimum 5 years of experience in embedded system hardware design in the related field: railway/automotive/medical/aerospace
