Full job description
The programme takes candidates from zero flying hours through ground school, flight training, type rating and line training. Emirates states that the programme covers training costs for at least four years, including training materials, accommodation, uniforms and three meals per day during academy training. Published pay and fixed allowances rise from AED 6,365 during ground school and flight training to AED 18,335 during type rating, AED 31,745 during line training and AED 52,105 as a First Officer.
Requirements & qualifications
Applicants must hold a valid UAE passport and Khulasat Al Qaid, be aged 18-26, have Grade 12 with at least 80% or a university/college GPA of 3.0 or higher in a scientific major, have completed military service unless exempt, be at least 160 cm tall, and be medically fit with BMI 29 or less. Required certificates need Ministry of Education attestation.
