ROLE DESCRIPTION The Employee Experience Specialist is the on-the-ground heartbeat of our Weirton site, owning the programs, moments, and logistics that make Form a place where people feel welcome, celebrated, and connected to something bigger than themselves. This role lives on the factory floor, not behind a desk — you'll spend most of your time in and around production, working directly with our manufacturing workforce across shifts. This is a hands-on, high-visibility role best suited for someone who genuinely loves building community, and can move seamlessly from executing a site-wide lunch, to designing an onboarding experience, to helping a group of employees get properly set up during Open Enrollment. You'll be the face of the Form Factory 1 employee experience at our factory, and part of a small but mighty team that collectively delivers an exceptional employee experience to all of Form Energy's employees. Relocation assistance is available. WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Employee Engagement & Event Planning (~50%)
  • Plan and execute recurring onsite programs: Town Hall, Focus Meeting, lunches, weekly site meetings, and monthly culture moments (e.g., seasonal celebrations, recognition days, surprise & delight touchpoints)
  • Support execution of company-wide events at FF1, adapting format and logistics to work across a multi-shift manufacturing population
  • Support onsite Culture Committee and Employee Resource Groups — serve as a People Team liaison, helping the groups plan and execute programming
  • Support onsite visit logistics for guests, executive visitors, and cross-site team meetings
  • Support site-specific recognition efforts, including our monthly Employee of the Month, Recognition Rallies, and quarterly Town Hall Awards
  • Manage merch & swag inventory — tracking stock, reordering, and coordinating distribution for the WV site
  • Partner with local vendors and community organizations in the Weirton, WV area
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to gather employee sentiment and continuously improve onsite employee experience New Hire Onboarding (~40%)
  • Facilitate weekly onboarding sessions, including utilizing our onboarding tool, Enboarder, coordinating all logistics, materials, and being a welcoming presence on Day 1
  • Partner with key stakeholders to identify opportunities in onboarding processes and suggest improvements
  • Own first-day readiness — create Brivo accounts and print badges, coordinate with local IT team for device and account setup, coordinate with Facilities team to secure workspace and materials
  • Serve as the point of contact for new hire questions and process needs from hire through their first 30 days, connecting them to the right resources
  • Facilitate new hire swag ordering and distribution for WV site Employee Support (~10%)
  • Support onsite employees with HR questions and concerns, partnering with the WV People team as needed
  • Maintain accurate employee records and support HRIS data integrity in Oracle and ADP WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
  • 2-4 years of experience in employee experience, HR coordination, event planning, office management, or a closely related role
  • Warm, people-first presence — you're genuinely energized by making people feel welcome and celebrated
  • Previous experience working directly with a manufacturing workforce preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate logistics for multiple programs simultaneously
  • Strong written communication skills; comfortable drafting employee-facing content with attention to tone and audience
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a proactive instinct — when you see a gap, you fill it
  • Quick to learn new tools; experience with HR or workplace platforms (Enboarder, Slack, Oracle, ADP, Google Workspace) is a plus
  • Comfortable being fully on-site in Weirton, WV, with occasional presence for early, evening or weekend events WHERE YOU'LL WORK: This role is based at Form Factory 1 in Weirton, WV—an easy commute from the city of Pittsburgh, PA. This 550,000-square-foot facility is our hub for high-volume battery production and a leader in the new era of American energy manufacturing. Relocation assistance is available. #LI-Onsite Humanity is a cornerstone of Form Energy’s culture, and we make sure our compensation and benefits reflect that. We also offer at least 12 weeks of paid leave for new parents (up to 20 weeks for birthing parents), and generous vacation policies to give employees time to recharge when needed.
