This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Engenheiro de Poços based in Brazil. This role focuses on providing technical support for the planning and monitoring of offshore oil well activities. You will contribute to the construction, abandonment, and workover of wells through technical analysis, data management, and engineering studies. The position combines technical documentation, comparative analysis, technology evaluation, and database management. You will also support technical governance, procedure reviews, and research and development initiatives. Strong analytical capabilities are important for consolidating information, evaluating risks, and supporting technical and economic decisions. The role offers an opportunity to work with specialized well-planning tools and contribute to complex offshore engineering projects.

Analyze, support, review, and prepare technical documentation related to well engineering and planning activities. Collect, process, organize, consolidate, and maintain technical and operational data. Conduct comparative studies of estimated durations for well-related activities. Provide technical support for the governance of thematic groups and the review of technical procedures. Plan and monitor research and development activities related to well engineering and technology. Evaluate the technical and economic feasibility of technologies applicable to well operations. Update well configurations and related information in technical databases. Request quotations and cost information to support duration and planning estimates when required. Populate external databases with information obtained from internal technical databases. Request access to applications and systems required to execute contracted technical services. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related engineering discipline , obtained from an institution recognized by the Brazilian Ministry of Education. Active CREA registration , where applicable. Professional experience in planning and/or monitoring the construction, abandonment, or workover of offshore oil wells . Proven knowledge of well-planning and risk-analysis simulation software such as Well Cost Deterministic Package, Well Cost Advanced Package, Genesis PFU (Completions Planning and Follow-up), Genesis Drilling, and Genesis IVAC , or comparable tools. Ability to collect, process, transfer, organize, and group data, with knowledge of basic statistical analysis and decision-tree concepts. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office , particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Basic knowledge of Power BI , including filters, data organization, and information searches. Ability to provide formal evidence or declarations confirming experience with the required well-planning and simulation software. Strong logical and analytical capabilities. Advanced or fluent English . Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Knowledge of MS Project, Primavera Risk Analysis, and Primavera P6 is desirable based on the role’s technical scope.
