This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Engenheiro(a) de Software Sênior Backend Python - Plataforma e Arquitetura based in Brazil. This is a senior engineering opportunity focused on evolving the technological foundation behind products and engineering teams. You will work on architecture, scalability, reliability, performance, security, and developer experience across critical systems. The role combines hands-on backend development with technical decision-making and system design. You will design and evolve APIs, integrations, and reusable software components used by multiple products and teams. Working closely with Cloud, SRE, Security, Product, and Engineering teams, you will help solve complex technical challenges. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys improving existing systems while creating sustainable foundations for future growth. You will also contribute to engineering maturity by sharing knowledge, mentoring peers, and promoting strong development practices.
