Tips for this hackathon

Practical Job and Scholarship guidance. These tips do not replace official rules or create new eligibility requirements.

  1. Read the rules, eligibility, judging criteria, required technologies and intellectual-property terms before forming your submission plan.
  2. Build a complementary team early and assign product, engineering, design, research and presentation responsibilities clearly.
  3. Optimize for the published judging rubric: demonstrate a real problem, working solution, measurable impact and a concise live demo.
  4. Prepare the repository, pitch deck, demo video and submission links before the final hours so upload or platform problems do not invalidate the entry.
  5. Check whether travel, finalist presentations, team-size limits or mandatory attendance apply before committing.

Verified on the Saudi Council of Engineers IECE 2026 hackathon page. Registration is explicitly 6 September–5 October 2026; final pitching is 14–16 December 2026. No registration fee is stated, so fee remains null.
