Job Description: We are growing the Avionics Engineering team to support development of the X-BAT aircraft. Our team is designing a flight critical, custom avionics system to support communications, compute, AI, power, telemetry, and all other needed aircraft systems.

An Avionics Technician/Specialist supports the entire Avionics team and other cross-functional teams. It is an essential role spanning design, verification, procurement, manufacturing, and test. You will work specifically with the Electrical Engineering team as they design and verify all X-BAT electrical systems and circuit boards.

3+ years working in an electrical engineering lab or equivalent

Experience performing benchtop testing with basic EE equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope, electronic load, thermal chamber, etc.)

Can design basic test fixtures

May be able to design basic wire harnesses or simple circuit boards

Able to rework circuit boards down to at least 0402 parts

Proficiency reading and interpreting schematics

Experience working on multidisciplinary hardware development projects, which can be from an internship, job, club, team, personal project, etc…

Demonstrated history of showing ownership of project outcomes and delivering exceptional results

Record of working hard, being a trustworthy teammate, holding yourself and others to high standards, and being kind to others

Ability to obtain a S//SAR level security clearance desired.
