A 12-month African Union startup-acceleration fellowship selecting 100 youth- and women-led small enterprises from across all 55 AU Member States for structured training, mentorship, intellectual-property support and continental market-access activities.

Cohort 2 covers manufacturing, agro-processing, creative industries, ICT/digital, fintech, health and logistics/transport. Fellows are placed into Growth, Expansion or Scale-Ready tiers. All fellows receive ten structured training modules, expert mentorship, access to African Trade Observatory and AfCFTA market-intelligence tools, and participation in continental events; market-entry sessions or B2B matchmaking vary by tier.
Eligibility requirements
The enterprise must be formally registered and operating in an African Union Member State, have operated for at least two years and employ at least three full-time staff. The call is for youth- and women-led small enterprises. Current or former African Union Commission staff, EAN institutional-partner representatives, staff of Regional Economic Communities, and graduates of previous EAN Fellowship cohorts are not eligible.
