The ERC Consolidator Grant 2027 opens on 24 September 2026 and closes on 12 January 2027. Grants may provide up to EUR 2 million for five years, with additional funding possible in justified cases, and can cover research in any field.
Eligibility requirements
Researchers of any nationality with 5–15 years of experience since PhD completion, a promising scientific track record and an excellent research proposal may apply, subject to the ERC Work Programme's detailed eligibility and extension rules.
