Full job description
The fixed-term A2-A4 role supports backend systems, modem and signal-processing development, DSA-5 design and acceptance reviews, factory and site acceptance testing, ADIG deployment, RF and telecommunications simulations, research and development, industrial procurement and integration of ground-station subsystems. The vacancy was posted on 21 August 2026.
Requirements & qualifications
ESA requires a master's degree in a relevant domain together with 10 years of relevant professional experience. Candidates are expected to have several years of modem-development and signal-processing experience, preferably in the space domain; project-management experience and knowledge of CCSDS and ECSS ground-station standards are assets. ESA considers applications only from nationals of the eligible states listed in the official vacancy. A good knowledge of English or French is required, and another member-state language is an asset.
