The full-time programme includes ground school in the UAE and overseas, flight simulation and practical flying training. Etihad states a monthly salary of AED 5,000 during the first two training years, rising to AED 16,667 plus variable allowances after the License Skill Test, AED 24,000 plus variable allowances after line training under supervision, with step increases capped at AED 34,000 and AED 39,853 per month at Senior First Officer after obtaining the required hours and ATPL.
Requirements & qualifications
UAE Nationals aged 18-29, minimum height 160 cm, with at least 80% in high school including passing Mathematics and Physics or a higher-education qualification; IELTS 5.5 or EmSAT English 1250 minimum; male applicants must have completed or be permanently exempt from UAE National Service. Strong English and commitment to aviation training are required.
