Projects may run for up to 36 months and are planned to start in the second quarter of 2027. The international consortium must include at least two independent legal entities from at least two participating Eureka countries. A consortium submits one international proposal through Eureka SmartSimple, while the Lithuanian applicant must also submit the national application as instructed by the Research Council.
Eligibility requirements
The Lithuanian applicant must be a Lithuanian higher-education or research institution. A profit-seeking private legal entity meeting SME status is a mandatory Lithuanian partner; additional research institutions or SMEs may participate. Supported work includes applied research from technology-readiness stage 5 or higher and experimental development, with projects encouraged toward stages 7–9.
Tips for this grant
Practical Job and Scholarship guidance. These tips do not replace official rules or create new eligibility requirements.
- Check eligibility, funding coverage, study/project level and every required document before investing time in the application.
- Prepare transcripts, references, language tests, proposal/motivation statement and proof documents early.
- Separate the scholarship deadline from any university/program admission deadline; they may be different.
- Treat “fully funded” as a source fact only when the official provider explicitly confirms the covered costs.
Verification notes
Verified on the Research Council of Lithuania official call. Both the national and international deadlines are stated as 25 September 2026 at 17:00 CEST, normalized to 15:00 UTC.
