Lithuanian higher-education and research institutions may seek national funding after submitting an international proposal under the Eureka Biotech Call. National applications are open until 25 September 2026 at 17:00 CEST. The Lithuanian call has up to EUR 1.5 million allocated overall; a Lithuanian project may receive up to EUR 300,000. The call covers biotechnology-related applied research and experimental development and targets international cooperation and market-oriented R&D.
Eligibility requirements
A Lithuanian higher-education or research institution must apply together with a private, profit-making legal entity that qualifies as an SME. Applicants must also have submitted an international project proposal under the Eureka biotechnology call and meet the international and Lithuanian national conditions.
