About The Role
Job Overview We are looking for experienced Vehicle Test Drivers to support the testing of new electric vehicles (EVs) in the US and Canada before their North American market launch. The vehicles are prototypes and will be camouflaged. You will work alongside a client-side engineer and drive the vehicle on predefined routes, visiting selected EV charging stations to test charging availability, app functionality, and the overall charging process.
Key responsibilities

Drive prototype EVs on predefined routes across the assigned region.

Visit selected EV charging stations (EVCS).

Check charging station availability through the vehicle/app.

Connect the vehicle to charging stations and verify that the charging process works as expected.

Record and report any issues or unexpected behavior.

Follow predefined testing procedures and routes.

Work closely with a client-side engineer during testing.

Travel as required throughout the project, including cross-border travel between the US and Canada where applicable.

Maintain a high level of care and responsibility when operating prototype vehicles.
Qualifications And Requirements

Valid driver's license and strong driving experience.

Clear Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) for the past 5 years.

Clean criminal background check.

Previous experience in automotive, vehicle testing, mapping, data collection, or similar field projects.

Previous experience with Electric Vehicles (EVs) is strongly preferred.

Comfortable with extensive travel and being away from home for the full duration of the project.

Comfortable working alongside engineers and following detailed testing procedures.

Basic technical and smartphone/app skills.

Willing to complete drug screening and participate in random alcohol testing where required.

Reliable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented.
