Full job description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Event Marketing Manager based in India. As an Event Marketing Manager, you will own the planning and execution of a diverse event programme across industry conferences, trade fairs, private gatherings, and digital events. You will manage events from initial research and concept development through logistics, on-site execution, lead capture, and post-event follow-up. The role combines strategic event sourcing with highly hands-on coordination across multiple initiatives and deadlines. You will create engaging roundtables, breakfasts, dinners, meetups, webinars, and partner events that bring target audiences and business stakeholders together. Working closely with Marketing, Sales, and Leadership, you will ensure each event supports broader go-to-market objectives and generates meaningful opportunities. You will also prepare teams with clear briefings, materials, talking points, and execution plans while maintaining a smooth attendee experience. This is a part-time, fully remote opportunity for an exceptionally organized, proactive professional who thrives in a fast-moving international environment.
Own the event calendar end-to-end, covering trade fairs, industry conferences, proprietary events, roundtables, breakfasts, dinners, meetups, webinars, and other digital formats. Research and proactively identify relevant HR, People, and Mobility events across DACH and Europe, assessing their audience, relevance, and potential return on investment. Manage multiple events simultaneously, coordinating timelines, deadlines, vendors, booth logistics, promotional materials, giveaways, shipping, travel, and accommodation. Plan and execute proprietary events, including venue and catering coordination, guest lists, agendas, speakers, invitations, and on-site hosting. Manage webinar and digital event programmes with partners and customers, including topics, speaker line-ups, promotion, registration, and follow-up. Drive event attendance and lead generation through pre-event outreach, invitations, on-site engagement, lead capture, and structured handover to Sales. Prepare internal teams for each event through briefings, materials, talking points, schedules, and shift plans. Attend selected events where appropriate and support on-site execution without requiring constant travel. Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Leadership to align event activity with wider go-to-market priorities. Track event execution and follow-up activities to ensure leads and opportunities are handled promptly and effectively. Continuously improve event processes, formats, and workflows based on results and experience. Requirements: Strong proficiency in both German and English, with the ability to communicate confidently with venues, partners, speakers, prospects, and internal stakeholders. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage several events, deadlines, and moving parts simultaneously. Proactive and self-starting approach, with the ability to independently research opportunities, evaluate them, and make recommendations. Hands-on, practical mindset with a willingness to manage everything from event logistics and materials to hosting and follow-up. Strong attention to detail and ability to remain calm and effective when plans change or unexpected issues arise. Previous hands-on experience in event marketing, field marketing, B2B marketing, an agency environment, a startup, or comparable projects is advantageous. Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills. Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with international teams. Interest in technology-driven environments and familiarity with AI-enabled tools is a plus. A results-oriented mindset and ability to connect event activities with attendance, lead generation, and broader marketing objectives. Benefits: Fully remote work environment. Part-time schedule of approximately 20–30 hours per week. Competitive salary based on part-time hours. Virtual stock options (VSOPs). Monthly €200 budget for co-working space and/or sports subscriptions, prorated according to hours worked. Ability to work from anywhere in a remote-only environment. Workations for up to 183 days per year. Trust-based working environment with flexibility to organize your own schedule. Merit-based culture with opportunities for professional growth. Collaborative international team where employees can contribute to sales and marketing approaches and processes. Opportunity to build and own an event programme within a fast-growing technology environment.
