The Daily Mail also maintains a powerful presence across social media, engaging more than 150 million followers and delivering more than 6 billion video views each month across platforms including Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Snapchat.   About the Role This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, highly organized  Executive   Assistant  to work closely with the General Manager of Daily Mail US and play a key role in supporting the leadership and day-to-day operation of the US business. As  Executive   Assistant  to the General Manager, you will be responsible for managing a complex  executive  schedule, coordinating priorities, and ensuring the General Manager is fully prepared for key meetings, decisions, and engagements.   Working closely with senior leadership and colleagues across editorial, commercial, marketing, finance, HR, legal, and other teams, you will manage communications, coordinate meetings and projects, prepare briefing materials, and help ensure priorities are executed efficiently. This role requires exceptional judgment, discretion, attention to detail, resourcefulness, and the confidence to operate in a fast-paced, high-profile media environment.     About What You'll Do Manage the General Manager's complex calendar, including internal meetings, external appointments, travel, events, and changing priorities. Prepare agendas, briefing materials, presentations, reports, and other documents for meetings and  executive  engagements. Act as a trusted point of contact and gatekeeper for the General Manager, managing internal and external communications with professionalism and discretion. Coordinate meetings, projects, and priorities across editorial, commercial, advertising, marketing, finance, HR, legal, product, and other teams. Track key decisions, follow-ups, deadlines, and action items to ensure priorities are executed effectively. Draft, edit, and coordinate  executive  correspondence, presentations, reports, and other communications. Manage domestic and international travel arrangements, itineraries, accommodations, transportation, and meeting schedules. Organize leadership meetings, off-sites, conferences, client meetings, dinners, and company events. Build and maintain strong relationships with senior  executive s, colleagues, clients, agencies, and external partners. Support special projects, strategic initiatives, and business priorities as directed by the General Manager. Coordinate with colleagues across the wider Daily Mail organization, including UK and international teams where required. Anticipate the General Manager's needs and proactively identify issues, opportunities, and competing priorities. Handle confidential business, personnel, financial, and strategic information with the highest level of discretion. Ensure the General Manager is consistently prepared, informed, and supported across all key priorities and engagements.   About You The ideal candidate is naturally proactive, exceptionally organized, and highly resourceful. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy working closely with senior leadership, and have the judgment and confidence to manage competing priorities with minimal direction.   You are polished, discreet, and commercially minded, with excellent communication skills and a strong ability to build relationships across an organization. You anticipate what needs to happen next, remain calm under pressure, and take ownership of problems from start to finish.   You are collaborative, adaptable, and excited by the opportunity to work at the center of a dynamic digital media business where priorities move quickly and every day is different.   Minimum 5 years of experience supporting a senior  executive , preferably a General Manager, President, CEO, Managing Director, or equivalent. Demonstrated experience managing complex calendars, travel, meetings, and competing priorities. Exceptional organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Excellent judgment, discretion, and ability to handle confidential information. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace. Ability to prepare polished presentations, briefing documents, reports, and  executive  correspondence. Strong interpersonal skills and confidence communicating with senior  executive s and external stakeholders. Ability to work independently, anticipate needs, and solve problems with minimal direction. Ability to work quickly and effectively while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. Comfortable managing last-minute changes and multiple competing deadlines. Strong understanding of professional etiquette and  executive -level communication. Experience in digital media, publishing, advertising, entertainment, technology, or another fast-paced environment is advantageous.
