Full job description
Mobileye's EyeQ Platform Group in Jerusalem is looking for an embedded SW developer who will be responsible for validating custom hardware in Mobileye SoC. As an experienced embedded developer, you will be writing C/C++ code for Mobileye vision SoC and be engaged in a wide range of activities: starting from system verification on simulators, moving through the design and implementation of HW drivers for Mobileye's proprietary OS, working closely with ASIC designers to cover all HW features, gaining insight into the inner workings of hardware, and using your knowledge to iron out bugs in silicon on customer boards via JTAG probes. It's a unique opportunity to be part of the complete lifecycle of a system on a chip. Our group's area of responsibility resides on the SW/HW boundary and thus requires the ability to understand and use complex HW specifications for SW drivers and test development.
What will your job look like:
Developing code for a multi-threaded, multi-core system under a custom real-time operating system on MIPS/RISC-V processor range, exposing complex HW features to upper SW layers.
Designing and implementing system verification and integration tests in a simulation environment, as well as maintaining and enhancing existing ones.
Executing board bring-up activities and debugging existing systems with Mobileye's proprietary system on a chip.
All you need is:
BSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
3+ years of experience in C/C++ programming.
3+ years of experience in embedded SW.
Ability to work with HW specifications and develop low-level SW in bare-metal/RTOS environments.
Experience in HW/SW integration and debugging activities on real SoC.
Knowledge of shell scripting and Python.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Nice to have:
Understanding of embedded systems, microprocessors, I/Os, I2C/SPI, and other interconnect buses.
Experience working with MIPI CSI protocol or other high-speed serial interfaces.
Mobileye changes the way we drive, from preventing accidents to semi and fully autonomous vehicles. If you are an excellent, bright, hands-on person with a passion to make a difference come to lead the revolution!
