We understand that the cost of pursuing higher education can be a significant concern for many students and their families. The KAUST Fellowship is designed to ensure that you can focus entirely on your studies and research with the peace of mind that comes from financial support.
The Fellowship includes:
- Full tuition and bench fee coverage (worth up to USD $35,000 per year)
- A monthly stipend (worth USD $20,000 per year for M.S. students, and USD $25,000 to $30,000 for Ph.D. students depending on qualifications and academic progress)
- Base accommodation is included (shared accommodation for single students, and 2-bed accommodation for married students). Eligible students can request a housing upgrade which will be subject to an additional fee
- Health insurance for students and eligible dependents living on campus
- Relocation support (visa, relocation and travel costs)
In total, the value of the KAUST Fellowship is calculated to be worth between $70k and $80k per year, depending on your specific situation. While we understand that higher education costs can be daunting, the KAUST Fellowship is here to alleviate those concerns.
Relocation assistance is only for each student's initial move to KAUST and their return home upon graduation. Detailed information about the Fellowship will be provided to those offered a place at the University.
