The workshop runs online via Zoom from 6 October to 12 November 2026, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 18:00 to 21:00, for 36 teaching hours. General cost is MXN 2,800 per person. Filmoteca UNAM advertises a 50% discount for eligible UNAM community members, UNAM graduates/alumni, Sistema Incorporado and INAPAM participants with valid identification, plus three Puntos Cultura UNAM places. Applications close 1 October 2026. Participants work toward an autobiographical short film and must meet the workshop's participation and assessment requirements to receive a participation certificate.
Eligibility requirements
General public age 18 or older. No prior subject experience is required, but applicants should have an interest in cinema and be prepared for autobiographical, body-based and reflective creative work. Internet access, Zoom, email and basic personal audiovisual materials are required.
