We want our students to make the most of their time here without having to worry about their finances. As well as scholarships, which are available to both incoming and current students, graduate students at Lincoln are able to apply for funding to help towards purchasing books and to help cover costs incurred when conducting research, such as attending conferences. For students who encounter unexpected financial difficulties whilst studying, we offer a generous support package. We also offer funding to students who need it to allow them to take an active role in extracurricular pursuits that they may otherwise not be able to partake in. Eligibility

Open to graduate applicants, from the UK or EU, holding a place or an offer of a place at Lincoln College for a Master’s Degree, including BPhil or BCL, in any subject area. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of exceptional academic merit and financial need. Preference may be given to applicants from the UK.

The Alexis Heeb Research Scholarship

Eligibility

Candidates must be current students of Lincoln College during the whole academic year 2027/28. The Scholarship is to cover expenses related to the student’s participation in an academic conference (ideally with contribution of an abstract, poster, or paper), relevant training event, or publication of a research paper in a peer-reviewed journal. In certain exceptional situations, the Scholarship will also cover the cost of reagents, equipment or materials required to perform a planned research project. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of exceptional academic merit and financial need. Preference will be given to students in the fields of Politics and Cancer Research (Clinical and Basic).

The Patel Bursary

Eligibility

• The student is judged to be in financial need by the College’s graduate student award panel.

Eligibility

Candidates must be new or current international graduate students of Lincoln College who are within their period of fee liability. Successful candidates should show the need of financial assistance, academic merit and the promise of being good College citizens (i.e. active in the arts, sports, student governance, etc.).

Senior Scholarships

Eligibility

All current graduate students of the College, in any subject. Senior Scholarships are awarded on academic merit. Preference will normally be given to candidates in their second year of postgraduate study at the time of application.

The Scholarship carries an emolument of £350 and limited dining rights at High Table during full term.

Eligibility

Candidates must be accepted by the University and Lincoln College to read for a BCL or MJur with an emphasis or special interest in Public Law. These awards are funded by Lord Crewe's Charity, founded from the Will of Nathaniel, Lord Crewe, 1633-1721, Rector of Lincoln College and Bishop of Durham.

Eligibility

Graduates of any Israeli university, gaining a graduate place at the University and at Lincoln College, in any subject. Preference may be given to graduates of the Hebrew University. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of exceptional academic merit and financial need.

Applicants must hold a place, or an offer of a place, at Lincoln College. The award may be offered to any student studying for a Masters degree in any subject at Lincoln College, subject to the following conditions:

• The student is judged to be in financial need by the College’s graduate student award panel.
