Role Overview This internship will provide exposure to: Day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping, TDS & GST compliance, MIS reporting and dashboards, Month-end closing activities, and finance process automation using Excel.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with bookkeeping and general ledger entries.
- Support TDS computation, deduction, deposit, and quarterly return filing Assist with GST compliance, including ITC reconciliation and GSTR-1/3B workings.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports and management dashboards.
- Support month-end activities such as accruals, prepaid schedules, and reconciliations.
- Prepare Excel-based trackers, schedules, and variance analysis.
- Assist with vendor invoice processing and payment-related activities.
- Support statutory and internal audit requirements.
- Assist with ad hoc finance projects such as cost analysis and budget tracking.
Qualifications
- CA Semi-Qualified – cleared IPCC/Intermediate and pursuing CA Final.
- Completed articleship from a CA firm with 3+ partners.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel – Pivot Tables, Lookups, and formulas.
- Good understanding of TDS and GST.
- Exposure to accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, NetSuite, or similar is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
Good to Have
- Exposure to a SaaS, technology, or startup environment.
- Familiarity with Google Sheets/Google Workspace.
- Basic understanding of financial statement preparation.
