Your Role

As a Finance Operations Specialist (all genders), you’ll take on a key role in the customer billing process and ensure our financial operations run smoothly, accurately, and efficiently. With a sharp eye for numbers, structures, and processes, you’ll collaborate closely with various departments and contribute your expertise to the continuous improvement of our financial operations.

This is a fixed-term parental leave cover position for 12 months, with a weekly scope of 20 - 26 hours.

How You Make An Impact

• You oversee the entire customer billing process – from maintaining billing-relevant data, coordinating project milestones with internal departments, to creating and sending invoices
• You actively contribute to the further development of our financial processes and systems by bringing in your hands-on experience from day-to-day operations
• You independently conduct ad-hoc analyses and prepare the results in a manner appropriate for your audience
• You support our Finance team with cross-functional topics, such as accounting, reporting, and in the context of financial statements
• You create and maintain process documentation and internal guidelines, thereby contributing to the quality and consistency of our operations

Qualifications And Requirements

• You have completed vocational training or a degree in finance or accounting and have a solid understanding of commercial processes
• You have already gained initial hands-on experience in the finance field – ideally in a dynamic corporate environment
• You ideally have initial experience with HubSpot and a good understanding of working with CRM systems
• You have advanced Excel skills – from creating meaningful reports to confidently using formulas and functions
• You are characterized by a hands-on mentality and an independent working style; you move your projects forward quickly and structure your tasks in a goal-oriented way
• You have strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset
• Our internal company languages are German and English – ideally, you are fluent in both
• You feel at home in a scale-up environment, enjoy taking initiative, and like contributing your own ideas
