In this role, you will be a key partner to our go-to-market teams in post sales roles, providing financial expertise and guidance to support strategic decision-making. As we continue to grow, you will play a crucial role in analyzing financial data, building models, and delivering insights to drive informed business decisions. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams and collaborate with other members of the finance organization to align go-to-market strategies with broader financial considerations.</p> <h2><strong>Key responsibilities</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Provide expert guidance and recommendations to post-sales stakeholders on financial strategies, investments, and resource allocation decisions, leveraging an in-depth understanding of the company's financials</li> <li>Partner cross-functionally to drive analysis, build financial models, and recommend business decisions across a variety of areas, such as renewals and expansion forecasting, customer retention economics, cost-to-serve, and headcount and capacity planning</li> <li>Prepare and deliver clear, concise, and insightful financial reports and analyses to support planning cycles, business reviews, cost tracking and investment cases for post-sales programs</li> <li>Establish and implement reporting dashboards and scorecards to track key operational and financial metrics across the post-sales customer lifecycle</li> <li>Collaborate with other members of strategic finance, FP&A, revenue operations, and accounting counterparts, helping to align GTM plans with broader financial strategies and considerations</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Minimum qualifications</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Experience in strategic finance, sales or GTM finance, FP&A, private equity, growth equity, venture capital, consulting, or investment banking</li> <li>Exceptional analytical skills with an ability to synthesize data into compelling insights and develop / maintain complex financial operating models</li> <li>Extraordinary problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to navigate complex financial challenges</li> <li>Comfort working cross-functionally and are adept at communicating complex financial information to non-finance audiences</li> <li>Strong relationship building, business judgment, process management, and communication skills</li> <li>Passion for Anthropic's mission to build safe, transformative AI systems</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Preferred qualifications</strong></h2> <ul> <li>7+ years of experience, including time partnering directly with GTM or post-sales organizations such as Customer Success, Professional Services, or Support</li> <li>Experience with consumption-based, usage-based, and/or complex enterprise business models</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="description"><p>The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. </p> <p>For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.</p></div><div class="title">Annual Salary:</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$240,000</span><span class="divider">—</span><span>$325,000 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><h2><strong>Logistics</strong></h2> <p><strong>Minimum education: </strong>Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience</p> <p><strong>Required field of study: </strong>A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience</p> <p><strong>Minimum years of experience: </strong>Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position</p> <p><strong>Location-based hybrid policy:</strong> Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time.
