FNR's 2027 ATTRACT call supports promising researchers who are not yet established in Luxembourg to build their own research team at a Luxembourg host institution.

ATTRACT provides five-year funding of up to EUR 1.5 million for Starting Investigators or EUR 2 million for Consolidating Investigators. The candidate and Luxembourg host institution submit jointly through the FNR Grant Management System. FNR advises candidates to check host-institution internal deadlines well before the FNR deadline.
Eligibility requirements
Candidates should be 2–8 years after successful completion of a PhD, show a strong R&D track record, not yet be established in Luxembourg, and propose work that fits the intended Luxembourg host institution's research strategy and national research priorities. The host institution must support development of an independent research line.
