ATTRACT 2027 enables high-potential researchers to establish their own team at a Luxembourg research institution through a five-year grant of up to €1.5 million for Starting Investigators or €2 million for Consolidating Investigators.

The 2027 ATTRACT call is open for researchers not yet established in Luxembourg who can develop a research line aligned with a Luxembourg host institution and national research priorities. The grant lasts five years. FNR states up to €1.5 million for Starting Investigators and up to €2 million for Consolidating Investigators. Pre-proposals are due 17 November 2026 at 14:00 CET; invited full proposals are due 16 February 2027 at 14:00 CET.
Eligibility requirements
Candidates must have 2–8 years of R&D experience after successful completion of a doctoral degree, demonstrate an outstanding track record, fit the host institution’s research agenda, and submit jointly with an eligible Luxembourg host institution. Host institutions may impose earlier internal deadlines.
