Overview
ABOUT THE ROLE
Full job description
ABOUT THE ROLE This is a founding-level product engineering role at an early-stage B2B SaaS company building an AI-native intelligence platform for strategic procurement. You will work across the full stack, owning features end to end from UX through backend logic to prompt design, and your work will directly shape the experience for high-value enterprise customers. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Prototype and ship LLM-powered features rapidly, iterating based on real customer feedback and usage behavior.
- Build and integrate AI agent pipelines, making sophisticated backend complexity feel seamless and invisible to end users.
- Work across frontend, backend services, and prompt workflows, owning entire features from conception to production.
- Sit close to users, translating their needs and behavior into product experiences that genuinely land.
- Contribute to system and architectural decisions as the product scales. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, whether demonstrated through professional experience, side projects, or a fast learning trajectory, across 1 to 10 years of experience.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs: prompting, tuning, and integrating them into real products, backed by evidence through work, side projects, or hackathons.
- Fullstack TypeScript experience; Python is a strong plus.
- Comfort working across the entire stack, including UI, backend services, and LLM/agent workflows.
- A track record of shipping product in a startup or similarly fast-moving environment, not a corporate background.
- High agency, entrepreneurial drive, and the habit of finding solutions without waiting for direction.
- Strong product taste and creative instincts for what makes a great user experience.
- Pragmatic use of AI coding tools, with clear judgment about when they help and when they do not.
- Berlin-based and willing to work in person or hybrid with the team. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Salary range: 90,000 to 140,000 EUR annually. Visa sponsorship is not available. LOCATION Hybrid, based in Berlin, Germany.
