ABOUT THE ROLE Own acquisition and conversion for an early-stage, AI-native fintech company building financial services for business owners. Working alongside the founder, you will help turn relevant content and creative growth experiments into qualified conversations and client relationships. This founding role will help shape how the business reaches and serves its market. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Grow the reach of content among founders and business owners, and convert attention into conversations and client mandates.
- Test acquisition channels such as paid campaigns, partnerships, events, public relations, referrals, affiliates, field marketing, and targeted outbound.
- Turn successful experiments into repeatable acquisition programs and improve conversion.
- Identify which customer segments to prioritize and how to earn their attention.
- Work with creative and technical colleagues to build a better understanding of businesses and potential clients. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience helping build growth at an early-stage company, or a strong record of personally acquiring founder and business-owner customers.
- Ability to connect your own decisions to customer acquisition results.
- Creative judgment paired with a practical understanding of acquisition costs, conversion, and retention.
- Resourcefulness in finding overlooked ways to reach customers and interest in shaping a team and its standards.
- Finance, M&A, or banking experience is not required. No specific years of experience or technology stack are specified.
