Visit our Institutional Page https://www.nu.com/2026-en ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking an FP&A Senior Manager to lead our FP&A Efficiency agenda — driving and influencing the optimization of Nubank's global cost base. You will lead a core Financial Planning & Analysis team focused on cost management and partner closely with the business to build a culture of cost discipline and high-performance efficiency, treating every dollar as a source of competitive advantage rather than a back-office exercise. You will help owners identify strategic investments that support Nubank's future growth while maintaining a lean cost base — equipping partners with the rigorous planning, forecasting, and multidimensional analysis they need to drive decisions at the most senior levels. This role is not about optimizing ratios in isolation; it is about helping engineer one of the most efficient financial engines in the industry. The scope is global and company-wide: you will lead all of Nubank's Global Opex and Capex — influencing US$5B+ yearly across the company — with a sharp, relentless focus on cost. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy across complex scenarios involving multiple teams, stakeholders, and areas of expertise. You will manage trade-offs, resource allocation, and cross-functional alignment while leading and developing a high-performing team. You will contribute to short-term (6–18 months) strategy building and cascade it into clear tactical plans, with consistent exposure to senior leadership. This is a people-management role: you will lead, coach, and grow the team; shape its composition and priorities; and act as an effective change agent, guiding the area through organizational and business evolution. YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

• Lead the planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting cycles for Nubank's Global Opex and Capex, providing business owners the visibility, planning discipline, and controls to manage their financials (budget, expenses, and contracts) and risk, with a sharp focus on cost efficiency and full accountability for the integrity of the numbers.
• Drive the adoption of AI, advanced analytics, and automation to redefine financial processes, measuring rigorous KPIs to iterate and scale successes across the function.
• Translate multi-dimensional data (operational, market, regulatory) into strategic insights, identifying trends and quantifying their expected impact on key business drivers.
• Handle and support the team through problems and ambiguities, effectively managing trade-offs, resource allocation, and required alignments.
• Manage large and/or multidisciplinary initiatives with consistent exposure to senior stakeholders, knowing when and how to escalate to direct managers and critical stakeholders.
• Contribute to short-term (6–18 months) strategy building and cascade it into tactical plans.
• Lead with a diverse range of perspectives, manage complex conflict as a mediator, and influence company-wide decisions — knowing when to disagree and when to commit and guiding the team to move things forward. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS Required

• Communication — you communicate complex messages clearly and persuasively, adapt your style across audiences and cultures, promote productive idea exchange, and listen actively.
• Stakeholder management — you map and navigate key stakeholders, build productive and trust-based relationships, and proactively influence stakeholders to gain buy-in, resolve conflicts, and adjust priorities when needed.
• Agile adaptability — you anticipate and navigate complex problems, develop innovative solutions that address root causes, and lead experimentation that delivers high-impact value.
• Technology & AI fluency — you guide teams in applying advanced analytics and visualization, lead the implementation of AI solutions and automations that optimize business processes, and drive AI initiatives that map to core business goals.
• Leadership — you lead, coach, and develop people, build strong and diverse teams, and act as an effective change agent. Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Business, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certification (e.g., CFA) is a plus.
• Extensive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or a closely related function, including significant experience leading and developing teams.
• Proven track record of owning financial planning, forecasting, and performance management for a business area or function.
• Strong command of financial modeling, valuation, and advanced data analysis; proficiency with modern analytics and visualization tools.
• Experience influencing and partnering with senior leadership on strategic decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead through ambiguity, manage complex trade-offs, and drive change across cross-functional and multidisciplinary environments.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
