1. Basic Information & Requisition Details Job Title: Front-Office Data Support Analyst Department: Capital Markets & Trading  Seniority / Level: Intern Employment Type: Internship - 12 months Location: London, UK  Target Start Date: ASAP 
2. About the Role Sit on the front-office trading desk at the centre of 21shares' ETF/ETP business, with direct, ongoing exposure to how the firm's data, products, and market activity connect Work across three lenses on the desk's data: research (sourcing and structuring), reconciliation (validating accuracy against source systems), and performance (tracking and reporting on product and market activity), building and maintaining the underlying infrastructure via API and internal databases Independently identify gaps in data coverage or reporting and take ownership of resolving them, rather than working purely to a fixed task list Partner directly with product, research, and legal teams, translating data into outputs used both internally and externally Gain in-depth knowledge in crypto , trading, research, operations and lifecycle of an asset manager in addition to deep knowledge on data analytics

Key Responsibilities Data maintenance: Maintain and validate daily data feeds (NAV, AUM, flows, holdings, staking rewards, index values etc) across the internal database and third-party APIs, flagging discrepancies before they start affecting the product's health Cross-functional collaboration: Serve as the link between the trading desk and the data/engineering team, translating desk requirements into technical specs and communicating data/system constraints back to trading and product stakeholders Process automation: Identify manual or spreadsheet-based reporting workflows and replace them with Python/SQL scripts/Claude dashboards to reduce turnaround time and error rate as well as document the process. External data validation: Support QA of data published to external channels (website, product pages, factsheets) to ensure consistency with the internal source of truth Ad hoc requests: Handle ad hoc data requests from product development, risk, distribution teams etc

Qualifications & Skills Required Qualifications Bachelor or Master’s degree in Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or a related field Strong experience coding in Python and SQL within a collaborative development environment (work, team projects, open-source etc) Genuine interest in financial markets and curiosity to learn more on risk management, market dynamics, blockchain and DeFi  concepts Strong analytical and quantitative skills Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills Disciplined self-starter with a high degree of rigor and attention to detail You like to challenge and be challenged to get the best solutions to a problem Preferred Qualifications / Nice-to-Haves Familiarity with financial products like ETPs and ETFs Experience working directly with technical and development teams Working knowledge of database systems (PostgreSQL or similar)
