Position Overview:

The Fuel Injector Technician I supports the disassembly, testing, preparation, inspection and packaging of fuel injectors and related components. Working in a fast-paced, team environment, this role performs a variety of hands-on tasks to ensure products are properly tested, prepared and meet established quality standards.

This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to perform repetitive hands-on tasks, and a willingness to learn. Previous mechanical experience is an asset, but training is provided.

This role is based in our Abbotsford location and this role is a fully onsite role.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 / Per Hour

Requirements

  • Tear down and prepare fuel injectors for testing and further processing.
  • Perform valve setting and pop testing in accordance with established procedures.
  • Measure injectors and perform armature lift measurements.
  • Operate the 205 Test Bench in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
  • Set up and operate the 815 Injector Test Bench in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
  • Operate laser equipment as required.
  • Inspect components and finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards.
  • Package finished goods for shipment or further processing.
  • Follow standard work procedures and complete required documentation accurately.
  • Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
  • Support team production goals and daily targets.
  • Work effectively with team members and follow daily direction provided by the Team Lead and Supervisor.
  • Participate in workplace safety, quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management to support operational needs and business objectives.

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Mechanical aptitude and interest in automotive or diesel systems is an asset.
  • Experience working with an ERP is an asset.
  • Basic math, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency using computers, scanners and tablets.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to follow established procedures and work under the direction of senior team members.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
