The current Fulbright Visiting Scholar award covers international round-trip airfare, a monthly stipend, settling-in allowance, professional development allowance, and health and accident insurance. Advanced research awards run three to four months; programmes with a university lecturing component may run up to five months.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must be Philippine citizens residing in the Philippines during application and selection, hold a doctoral degree or equivalent professional training/experience, have appropriate English proficiency, be able to begin the U.S. research or lecturing period between 1 September 2027 and 31 May 2028, be in good health, return to the Philippines after the grant, and satisfy the current criminal/administrative-status and U.S.-exchange restrictions.
