ETAs are placed in Tegucigalpa or San Pedro Sula. The official award page lists an estimated USD 2,000 monthly stipend and USD 3,850 in one-time allowances, including base travel/settling support and a materials allowance.
Requirements & qualifications
Eligible U.S. citizens at bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral level may apply. Teaching, mentoring, tutoring or assistantship experience is preferred; relevant language, education, TESOL or related preparation is strongly valued. Intermediate Spanish and a Foreign Language Evaluation are required.
