Complete fellowship details
The Fulbright–PhilSA award covers international round-trip airfare, a monthly stipend, settling-in allowance, professional development allowance, and health and accident insurance. Grants last up to four months and support eligible research in space applications, spacecraft systems, space science and multidisciplinary studies, and space law, economics or administration.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must be Philippine citizens residing in the Philippines during application and selection, hold a doctoral degree or equivalent professional training/experience, have a research plan aligned with PhilSA Key Development Areas, demonstrate appropriate English proficiency, be able to start eligible U.S. research from 1 January through 31 May 2028, be in good health, return to the Philippines and render the required service obligation, and meet current legal and U.S.-exchange restrictions.
