Three nine-month Fulbright awards support independently designed graduate-level research projects with an approved host in Peru.
Complete fellowship details
Grantees conduct research at a Peruvian higher-education institution, nonprofit, research center or other eligible public-interest host. Grants normally begin in mid-August 2027 or, by exception, mid-March 2028.
Eligibility requirements
Meet Fulbright U.S. Student eligibility and hold at least a bachelor's degree. Master's and doctoral applicants are accepted; applicants whose PhD is conferred before the application deadline are not eligible. A Peru affiliation letter is required, and intermediate Spanish is recommended.
