The University of Sarajevo is recruiting one fully funded doctoral candidate for the Horizon Europe MSCA Doctoral Network QUESTING, focused on designing, managing and debugging quantum networks.

The doctoral researcher will work on quantum key distribution networking and methods for design, management and debugging of quantum networks. The project is funded for up to 36 months and includes planned research secondments of about four months at Trinity College Dublin and three months at AIRBUS in Germany. The position is part of Horizon Europe MSCA Doctoral Network QUESTING (grant 101227218).
Eligibility requirements
Applicants should hold a master's degree in electronic or electrical engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics or a closely related field. The official vacancy seeks strong programming skills, including C++, experience with network simulation such as NS-3 or OMNeT++, mathematical ability, knowledge relevant to communication networks or quantum physics, and English communication skills. MSCA mobility rules apply: the candidate must not have resided or carried out the main activity in Bosnia and Herzegovina for more than 12 months in the 36 months before recruitment and must not already hold a doctoral degree.
