The Alternative Investments Team provides accounting, pricing, and reconciliation services for our alternative investment fund clients. This group is a growing team that continues to add to our client portfolio. With additional clients and the evolution of client needs comes the opportunity to grow our knowledge base and expand our technological capabilities. As the Lead Fund Accountant for Alternative Investments, you will supervise the daily, weekly and monthly activities of a fund accounting and administration team consisting of individuals varying in skill levels from entry level to senior level accountant. The Lead Fund Accountant will perform micro and macro level reviews of all work including final review for clients. You will be responsible for management and mentoring of team personnel as well as providing technical, industry and client specific training and acting as a resource. You will assist with sourcing, hiring, and developing top talent. How you will spend your time: Manages associate time, salary, and performance records; initiates change of assignments, salary increases, conducts performance appraisals and management activities, and recommends staffing changes.
