The GenAI Spares Planning Team RMA Program Manager is the single-threaded owner for ensuring Nvidia GPU material flows correctly through the returns lifecycle across the GenAI accelerator fleet. Nvidia GPUs are among our highest-value spare parts, and as the fleet scales, spares supportability increasingly depends on the timely recovery and re-induction of RMA returns. Execution sits with cross-functional partners (HWEng, Logistics, AIS-SC, Nvidia); this role monitors that flow end-to-end, holds SLA adherence at every handoff, escalates disruptions, and drives owners to recovery — backed by the reporting mechanisms that make the program scalable.

If you love being at the forefront of industry growth and development, developing and executing processes in a highly ambiguous environment, identifying information gaps and collaboration needs, and driving business strategy, then this is the spot for you. This is a high impact role offering an opportunity to drive and influence business-critical decisions impacting the long-term future of the business.

Key job responsibilities

  • Owns monitoring SLA adherence across all Nvidia GPU components covered under RMA agreements, at key handoffs and nodes throughout the supply chain cycle.

  • Escalates disruptions and drives recovery plans to resolution, coordinating across HWEng, Supporting Logistics Teams, AIS-SC, Nvidia, and GenAI SPMs.

  • Ensures readiness of RMA programs for new Nvidia GPU components ahead of platform launches – including

  • Collecting AFRs from HWEng

  • Coordinating with SPMs to size initial seed stock pool

  • Raising Buffer Stock RMA submissions in Nvidia’s portal

  • Monitoring fulfillment of initial seed stock allocations from Nvidia

  • Monitors approved failure log coverage and surfaces gaps to HWEng.

  • Expands NVTool into a scalable mechanism that supports budget planning for GPU spares, including ongoing monitoring of actual vs. planned spend

  • Leads initiatives to streamline and optimize the RMA supply chain, including onboarding Nvidia to the Janus Spares Supply Model.

  • Monitors degrade rates post-launch to identify shortages to required target levels (considering purchased inventory and seed stock), advocating for additional seed stock supply, as needed.

  • Monitors and escalates stuck inventory (e.g. replaced GPUs held without logs) requiring state change back to SPARE.
